David is an Innovation Manager at Brink. He coaches a wide variety of teams as they build their own ventures, helping them use different tools to experiment and reflect on their work, as well as offering them critical advice and friendship. He also uses strategic foresight tools to help teams explore technology trends and the future.
Prior to joining Brink, David undertook a variety of roles at UNESCO and the United Nations Development Programme. He holds a master degree in International Development from Sciences Po Paris, and a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Oxford.
David was invited to join the first ever archaeological excavation of the Maldives, to follow the trail of 14th century explorer Ibn Battuta. One evening, David was finishing off an interesting pit when he discovered a complete pot. Suddenly, he realised that, nestled within the pot, there was a golden amulet! David still remembers the feeling to this day.
